Plot Overview
Ward and Corso go to work when Haines and his wife begin receiving threatening phone calls that eventually escalate into the Lieutenant nearly being killed. They investigate three possible suspects: a construction worker who's upset that Haines put him away for three years for playing cards in a bar (a parole violation), a bookmaker and a loan shark.

Haines's wife's first name in this episode is Grace. In the first season episode "Fast Gun", her name was Rosemary, and a different actress played her.
