Plot Overview
In order to build a case against gangsters for a robbery charge, the detectives have to Find a bundle of stolen money that somehow disappeared from the apartment in which they were hiding. The money went out the apartment window and into the hands of a hard-luck cab driver who stashes the loot in a bus station locker. Haines tries to find the man before the crooks do, and when he does, he persuades the cabbie to help them nail the robbery gang.
