Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation is an action comedy that aired on FOX. It is the only show based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to not be animated. Another notable aspect of this show is the addition of a fifth turtle, a female named Venus de Milo.
The show was the product of Saban Entertainment, which also produced Power Rangers. The shows crossed over with the turtles appearing in the two-parter "Save Out Ship" and "Shell Shocked".
