Maleficent was once an evil sorceress in the magical land of the Enchanted Forest. Maleficent had the ability to transform into a giant dragon, and after Queen Regina unleashed a curse upon the entire land, she was transported to Storybrooke trapped in her dragon form in a basement dungeon. She is played by Kristin Bauer van Straten and has appeared in eleven episodes to date.
