Play Your Hunch was a game show that aired on all three major networks from 1958 to 1963.

Two teams competed to guess which of three instances in a stage setting--marked X, Y and Z--was the correct answer. Some problems were posed as questions while others were posed as visuals. Teams scored $50 if correct with $150 winning the game. On nighttime, each correct guess was worth $100 with $300 winning the game.

Play Your Hunch started on CBS, then moved to ABC a year later. A year after that, it moved to NBC. The CBS and ABC editions had an end game for the winning team to play called "The Last Straw Board." The team kept drawing straws from the board, which contained five long and two short straws. The team won $100 for every long straw drawn; all five long straws won a new car.
