The Powerpuff Girls are a superhero team of three girls with extraordinary powers gained in a scientific accident. They battle all manner of villains, such as the maniacal genius Mojo Jojo, the dim-witted Ameoba Boys, and the mischievous Gangrene Gang. Two animated series have been produced using the basic concept:
- The Powerpuff Girls (USA): The original series that aired on Cartoon Network.
- Demashita! Powerpuff Girls Z (Japan): An anime series currently airing on TV Tokyo.
- The Powerpuff Girls (USA): Series reboot that airs on Cartoon Network.
