Stiff (2007) is a live-action horror comedy series created by Matt Maiellaro, co-creator of Aqua Teen Hunger Force and 12 Oz. Mouse. The series has been described by Maiellaro as Evil Dead 2 meets Kolchak: The Night Stalker, and has called it a totally tongue-in-cheek "romactiohorredy."
The series revolves around Muhanney, a detective who escaped from hell with the aid of a deformed canine he calls Rigamorto who is cursed to take on cases regarding demons and other monsters. Helping him in his quest is Naphtlene, an angel sent from Heaven with a tendency to stab, impale and otherwise maim Muhanney.
The pilot premiered on Adult Swim on October 31, 2007. It was first shown on Adult Swim's online video service on October 26, 2007. It is permanently available on the video service, and visitors are able to embed the special on their own webspace.
