Stumpers was a short-lived game show airing daytime on NBC.

Two teams, each of a celebrity and a civilian compete in identifying words. One team is shown three clues to a subject and they give the opposing team clues least likely to assist them in identifying the subject (termed as a "Stumper"). The team scores 15 points if they get the Stumper on the first clue, 10 points for two clues and 5 points for three clues. Points double in round two. The other team would receive 15 points in round one and 30 in round two if they got the Stumper provided the opposing team could not.

The winning team--scoring 120 points--vied for $10,000 in the Super Stumpers round. The celebrity would give clues to his/her partner that would be most likely to assist in identifying the Stumpers. The team has 60 seconds; the contestants scores $100 for each Stumper; all ten wins $10,000.
