Made a slight change to the first paragraph to reflect that this series isn't only based on historical things. Don't want to confuse or turn anyone off to it.

Also added a In Depth section, some trivia and links to external sites.

Characters / Seasons

I'm a little confused: Sophia is credited with only a partial (red) season, but Wild Bill is given the full season, despite being in only 4 episodes, as is Powers Boothe's character, though he was not billed in the premiere. Likewise, Joanie Stubbs is credited with a partial season... it seems inconsistent. My opinion is that, though Sophia was not present in every episode, she was a part of the entire season, and was indeed a major plot point for several episodes, and should be given full season credit, whereas Cy Tolliver was in as many episodes as Joanie Stubbs, and they should each be given a similar season notation. It's based on which names appear in the opening credits that's the definition of billing. Wild Bill was in the opening credits of every episode until he died. Cy was in the opening credits of every episode after his arrival. Sophia and Joanie were listed in the end credits as guest stars along with all the other people with red numbers. Then in season 2 they greatly expanded the billed cast adding all those names in.The-jam 19:18, 3 July 2006 (EDT)
