Aurora and The Lost Boys are airing as a summer finale. ~Kevin Pratt, host of alienEthOS: The Ethics of Sci-fi 04:22, 17 Sep 2005 (EDT)

Airdates

For standardization purposes we're using the first-run airdates from the U.S. for American shows, not the Canadian airdates, otherwise we'd be trying to keep straight which SciFi Original show kicks off again in the UK or Canada or Turkey or East Crapistan before it starts back up from fall hiatus over here. For example, if Doctor Who ever managed to get picked up over here, we'd still use the UK airdates because it's a Brit show. Wizardryo suggested sticking the airdates from other countries somewhere inside the episode page itself, maybe under trivia or something. --Hawkman 20:11, 1 Dec 2005 (EST)

Isn't SG Atlantis a show that's beeing produced in Canada? Thus it's not a pure US show, but a Canada/US show and Canadian air dates have the same right to be listed here. --KAMiKAZOW 06:39, 2 Dec 2005 (EST)
No, it's being filmed in Canada because it's cheaper for cable TV companies to make their shows in Vancouver. It's produced by a US production company and first-run distributed by a US television channel. Battlestar Galactica is also filmed in Canada and joint-produced by Sky TV in the UK and two US companies over here, but it's not a "UK/US/Canada" production because Canada isn't going in on the actual production costs.
There's also not really any point in switching from one country's airdates to another in the middle of the season. --Hawkman 09:19, 2 Dec 2005 (EST)
This really seems incredibly unsatisfactory to me. The fact is that new episodes are currently airing and there is no reflection of this anywhere. Pti 00:06, 13 Dec 2005 (EST)

Plot Summaries

I found that the Plot Summaries of Inferno and Allies are identical to the ones posted here and here. I'd like to see this clarified by Drkstrm, who posted these summaries here. Are you the original author? If not, do you have permission to post the summaries here? —KAMiKAZOW 08:03, 21 January 2006 (EST)

Actually I got them from few different sources than what you posted, including a press release looking email from one of a handful of mailing lists that I'm on. Where it was posted in so many places I didn't think getting permission was really an issue.--Drkstrm 17:04, 21 January 2006 (EST)
Too bad. :( While I'm not really a fan of copyright laws, we must follow them or projects like TV IV could get into trouble. Maybe we'll find out that these texts are public domain, but until then I will delete them. --KAMiKAZOW 19:53, 21 January 2006 (EST)
From what I can tell it was released by MGM to fansites along with a gallery pack of images, from which most sites then grabbed it from here. Nothing in their copyright notice prohibits reproduction in whole or in part and simply "The multimedia and information on this website is provided solely as an entertaining resource" --Drkstrm 21:41, 21 January 2006 (EST)
Hm, sounds good. I'll keep the texts and add a copyright notice – just to be sure. --KAMiKAZOW 14:40, 22 January 2006 (EST)
