Plot Overview

Peter tells Paige that new doors are opening for her. Dennis tells Elliot that he is through with Paige. Joe tells Elena he has to leave today. Justin and Ashley talk about Max's tirade last night. Max tells Reena he is going to talk to Bubba. Reena convinces Max to speak to Ryan and not Bubba. Ashley leaves when the Bubba arrives and he and Justin discuss covering their tracks. Joe tells Elena he doesn't want to leave but has to and asks for a brush and some salt. Peter suggests to Paige that she manage the Coop. Dennis tells Elliot that he thinks Paige and Peter have been friends for some time. Bubba tells Justin not to worry about anyone proving they are slant drilling and then Ashley enters and Justin invites her to the ranch with him to see Kate. Kate tells Elena if she ever needs to talk she is here for her. Peter tells Paige she is too good to let Dennis bring her down so far but she disagrees. Ryan says he will look into the possibility of Bubba and Justin slant drilling if Max agrees to stay away from them while he checks it out and he agrees. Justin tells Kate he is not slant drilling and also tells her that he bought Paige's share of the ranch. Elliot tells Vicky he will take the job of news director. Joe tells Elena he intends to take his tattoo off but they have no future together. Elena suggests he turn himself in. Max & Reena visit with Vicky. Kate and Paige have a bitter argument over the life Paige is living and her selling her share of the ranch to Justin. Peter comes home and finds Paige all decked out and she says the reason for it is that her grandmother made her realize what she is. Max and Reena once again talk about having kids and the oil rig being shut down. Ryan tells Justin that he is stopping production until he has completed his investigation of Max's accusations. Justin thinks Iris will have something to say about it. Joe tells Elena that he killed Chris Shaw.
