Plot Overview

Ginny and Ryan tell Max and Reena about Justin and playing the tape for Iris and then Grant shows up and meets Ginny and tells Ryan that he needs to talk to him alone about Iris and Alex's death. Billy Joe and Ruby get ready for Elena's return to singing at the Coop. Rikki arrives at the Coop and sees Paige with Peter. In disguise, Joe and Elena get ready to go into the diner. Grant and Ryan talk about Iris thinking he is responsible for Alex's death. Ruby tells Billy Joe that she wants to get paid and help him with the Coop but he says no. Joe enters the diner and the waitress thinks he is the new cook. Paige tells Rikki that she was fired from the Top of the World Club and then Peter tells Paige that she was kind of hard on Rikki. Max and then Reena try to calm Ginny down about what Iris is doing. Ryan tells Grant he didn't talk to Alex and furthermore that Iris was the one who wanted Ryan to get Alex more involved in the company again. Then Grant decides to talk to Evan about what happened. Reena tells Ginny that she is planning to have a baby with Max and that she is scared but Ginny says she will be there for her. Ruby tells Billy Joe she will have to go back to Nashville and then she meets Rikki and tells Billy Joe she has decided to stay in Houston. Joe learns from the waitress that Gus came into a lot of money and left town. Ryan and Ginny discuss Iris' anger toward him. Evan tells Grant that an autopsy wasn't performed because there was no reason to suspect anything other than another stroke. Joe learns that Gus will be back in town in a few days and then he leaves. Max and Reena talk about Iris being mad at Ryan and Ginny being mad at Iris for it and then as they go to bed Max realizes that they don't hear the well which means it was shut down. Evan tells Grant there is no reason to suspect foul play. Billy Joe tells Peter, Rikki and Ruby that Elena called and cancelled because she is sick. Peter suggests that Rikki sing and he does. Ryan tells Ginny he might practice law again but she tells him not to give in to Iris. Max and Reena have a little bedside celebration about the well and she tells him she is not as nervous now about having a baby. Joe tells Elena that Jeannie thinks he is the new cook and will be working at the diner. After Rikki goes home Ruby tells Billy Joe that she has plans for Rikki. Peter gets into Paige's bed but she rebuffs him and he tells her she is making a very big mistake.
