Plot Overview

Nita suggest to Rikki that if he is going to change careers he think about singing. Joe begins work in the diner and then Elena in a wig walks in. Ruby tells Billy Joe he should dump Elena. Grant tells Iris that he spoke with Dr. Evan Douglass and neither he nor Evan believe Ryan had anything to do with Alex's death. Justin gets angry with Ryan for shutting the well down. Mel introduces Jeannie to his girlfriend Helen Small and then the real new cook shows up. Billy Joe tells Ruby he doesn't want Rikki hanging around because he is trying to move in on Nita. Maggie tells Rikki and Nita that Angela is talking to some of her friends about buying the restaurant. Ryan tells Justin that he is going to investigate the well and he is running the show now and Justin tells Ryan he can't get rid of him as easily as he did Alex. Elena poses and Jeannie and tell the man that the job has already been filled and he then walks out. Iris recounts for Grant the events around Ryan seeing Alex and then realizes that someone was trying to get her away from the suite and it must have been Ryan. Ryan suggests that Justin look for another job but Justin tells Ryan that he wills see to it that he isn't around World Oil much longer. Ruby tells Billy Joe that he should be playing hard to get with Nita. Nita tells Rikki that Maggie is the only family she has ever had and he lets her know that he is here for her. Ryan tells Ashley he needs a list of men who do directional surveys. Elena arrives and after Ruby leaves Elena tells Billy Joe that she wasn't sick last night. Justin pays a visit on Iris and he tells her how dangerous Ryan is. Billy Joe tries to apologize to Elena but Elena says it isn't him that's her problem. Ruby finds Rikki at Maggie's and suggests that he think about singing professionally. Justin tells Iris that Ryan only wants power and will destroy World Oil by the end fo the year and probably try to crush her and she responds by saying she won't allow that to happen and will take action immediately. Elena tells Joe that she has moved back into her apartment and so they can spend the night together. Nita tells Billy Joe that she loves him but can't be his wife anymore and wants a divorce. Justin tells Ashley of his successful visit to Iris and then Ashley tells Justin that Ryan has her looking for experts in directional surveys.
