Plot Overview

Billy Joe and Nita bring the baby to Maggie's from the hospital. Rikki comforts Elena. Vicky tells Ryan and Ginny that Reena hasn't accepted Max's death yet. Reena dreams of her and Max having a birthday party for their children then everyone disappears and she sees the oil rig blow and wakes up screaming for Vicky. Ashley tells Justin that Max died last night and he tells her that he can't find Bubba anywhere and is afraid he skipped town because there is still a way to prove they were slant drilling. Billy Joe tells Ruby she needs to find a place to live because he is planning to ask Nita to move back in with him. Rikki tells Elena that Terry is flying in from Paris and when he leaves Joe comforts Elena. Ashley tells Justin he is being irrational and then when she starts to talk about a mid-September wedding Justin mentions Christmas or Valentine's Day. Then Bubba comes in. Vicky tries to get Reena to accept that Max is gone. Ryan and Ginny feel Justin is most responsible for Max's death. Bubba tells Justin that he fought with Max and then took off. Billy Joe tells Nita that Ruby will be moving out real soon. Joe hides when Ruby comes to Elena's. Bubba tells Justin he got rid of the paperwork that proved the slant drilling. Ginny tells Ryan that Barrett isn't coming to the funeral and she is going to wait to tell Steve when he gets back from camp in another week. Then Vicky tells them that she thinks Reena has finally accepted what's happened. Ruby tells Elena that she is still looking for a place and picks up Joe's shirt. Maggie tells Rikki and Nita and Billy Joe that she has decided not to go to Amarillo any time soon. Elena tells Ruby that the shirt she found is one of Rikki's. Reena talks to Ginny about funeral arrangements and then she decides she needs to just go for a long ride on King's Ransom. Joe tells Elena to be careful of Ruby. Rikki tells Ruby he doesn't own any blue work shirt with anchor buttons. Justin tells Ashley that Bubba says there is no way to prove the slant shrilling since the well is destroyed and he got rid of the paperwork. Bubba finds the paper work missing from the file drawer in Justin's office and figures Ashley must have it.
