Iris visits Dennis at KVIK to talk about Justin being on the board of World Oil. Reena tells Vicky that she will find a way to make Justin pay for killing Max. Kate tells Ginny that Barrett sold his share of the ranch because Justin promised to help in get her away from Ryan. Then Barrett enters the kitchen and tells them he's decided not to leave. Dennis tells Iris he will support Justin being appointed to the board if Ryan does too. Reena tells Vicky one of the nicest gifts Max gave her was convincing the 2 of them to reconcile. Kate and Ginny have angry words with Barrett. Ashley learns from Justin that he is planning to drill on more than just 5 acres and even wants to start up his own company eventually. She also suggests to Justin that they move in together. Iris visits Ryan and asks if he will support Justin being added to the board. Barrett tells Ginny that Justin is going to run Ryan out of Texas. Justin tells Ashley that soon they will be living on the ranch so there is no reason to move twice. Ryan tells Iris he doesn't trust Justin. Barrett finds the oil survey and confronts Justin. Reena arrives at the cabin and finds the bottle of champagne in the refrigerator and remembers Max asking her to grow old with him. Vicky calls Ginny and asks her to check on Reena. Justin tells Barrett to leave Houston. Ginny finds Reena at the cabin and they talk about how you have to go on after someone you love passes. Iris finds Ashley upset and they talk about Reena and how she doesn't think Justin wants to live with her. Ginny tells Reena that Barrett sold his share of the ranch to Justin. Iris visits with Justin and tells him that Dennis won't vote to put him on board because Ryan won't. Iris also reminds Justin of how important Ashley is. Barrett tells Kate Justin tricked him and that he is going back to Colorado but he will be back and Ginny can count on it. Justin tells Ashley he has decided to move in with her. Ginny and Reena tell Kate they have a plan to keep Justin from drilling on the ranch.
