Ruby tells Beau she knows how to handle Phil. Ben tells Billy Joe that they want to make him Phil's co-host. Iris tells Vivien that Paige is going to be in for surprise in regards to her boutique opening. Elliot tells Paige that Dennis is doing fine and then Mrs. Oliver tells Paige that charity will not be sponsoring the boutique's opening. Kate tells Ginny that Lurlene is with the kitten. As Lurlene leaves Christopher Columbus someone is there. Ruby tells Beau of Phil's drinking problem so if she gets him fired Billy Joe will give Beau a job. Kate tells Ginny that she thinks Paige will do well with her boutique. Mrs. Oliver leaves and Paige knows Iris is behind it. Ben tells Phil that Billy Joe is going to be his co-host. Elliot tries to calm Paige down. Lurlene arrives at the house. Bubba sees Christopher Columbus. After Phil and Billy Joe have a run-in, Billy Joe quits. Elliot asks Iris if she had anything to do with Mrs. Oliver cancelling on Paige. Lurlene and Ginny find Christopher Columbus is dead. Iris tells Elliot she told Mrs. Oliver about the unsavory people Paige has been with. Kate and Ginny try to comfort Lurlene about the kitten. Ruby tells Phil she is on his side and suggests they go somewhere private to talk. Phil and Ruby at cozy in a motel room and then she offers him a drink. Elliot asks Ben to put Paige on the Phil Roberts show and Billy thinks he can help Elliot get her on. Iris tells Paige that she won't rest until Paige is out of town. Lurlene tells Kate and Ginny she is going back to the stables to get Max's jacket. Paige tells Elliot of Iris' visit and then he tells her of his thought to put her on the Phil Roberts show. Ruby gets Phil drunk. Ginny tells Kate that the highway patrol thinks Barrett is heading to Denver. Lurlene answers the phone in the stables but no one is there.
