Plot Overview

Dr. Douglass tells Ruby and Billy Joe that his problem is drug related. Elliot picks Dennis up while Paige waits. A waitress tells Ryan and Ginny that Barrett was talking with John Glanville. Barrett and Steve get settled in with the Granvilles. Billy Joe tells Dr. Douglass that if he isn't taking any medication right now then someone is slipping it into his food or drink. Ryan tells Ginny the police can't help them so he is going to have Mr. Granville come to town and talk to them. Ruby tells Beau what the doctor said and then Beau tries to come on to Ruby. Paige remembers her chat with Dennis and then Elliot tells her that he took Dennis home from the hospital today. Ginny and Ryan learn that Barrett has signed on to live with the Granvilles. Vicky learns of Paige's problem with the boutique getting sponsors for tomorrow's opening. Dr. Douglass tells Billy Joe he wants him to stay in the hospital one more night and then Detective Michaels tells Billy Joe he now works for the Houston Police Department and that someone is trying to scare him. Ryan calls Mr. Granville and asks if he could come and meet him at the coffee shop in town and he agrees. Ruby accuses Phil of trying to poison Billy Joe. Billy Joe tells Detective Michaels that he doesn't know who would try to poison him. Mr. Granville learns the truth from Ryan and Ginny about what Barrett has done. Mrs. Granville tells Steve that her husband is meeting a man named Ryan Connor in town. Elliot tells Dennis of Paige's worry that her boutique opening fails so Dennis suggests they do everything they can to make it a success. Ginny and Ryan convince Mr. Granville to help them by showing him the letter Steve wrote to Kate. Barrett learns of Ryan being in town with Mr. Granville. Detective Michaels tells Billy Joe that Phil Robert's fingerprints were on the medication. Ruby tells Beau that Phil won't quit but he says once they find the pills on him he will have no choice. Mrs. Granville tells Ryan and Ginny that Barrett and Steve left. Steve asks Barrett where they are going but he doesn't know.
