Race Overview
The Final Three teams set out from Guam in the final leg. Charla & Mirna made it to Hawaii with a faster flight with Eric & Danielle and Dustin & Kandice behind. At the Detour Charla excelled while Mirna had trouble maintaining her balance. Dustin had trouble breathing. Charla & Mirna watched their lead evaporate when Charla had trouble running across the rocky terrain at Shipwreck beach allowing Eric & Danielle and Dustin & Kandice to pass them. Dustin & Kandice clashed at each other, but eventually reconciled. All three teams took the flight to Oakland. They took their taxis to the San Francisco Mint with Dustin & Kandice in the lead. The final challenge tests how well the final three teams knows the others. After Eric, Dustin, and Mirna answered their questions and locked the safe containing their final clue, Danielle, Kandice, and Charla rush in to try to match their teammate's answers. They struggled a lot, but eventually Danielle triggered the code 8947 and the safe is opened and Danielle took the clue and Eric & Danielle drove through the streets and eventually they crossed the finish line at the Botanical Gardens to win the $1,000,000 and The Amazing Race All-Stars. Dustin & Kandice finished second, the highest finish ever for an all-female team. Charla & Mirna settled for thrid.
