Plot Overview
During the first season of "The Brady Bunch," Greg was not the suave ladies man that he would become later in the run. But he did have his share of first loves, crushes and bouts with puppy love.
It is the latter that afflicts Greg in this episode, and the object of his affection is someone named "Linda." His love for Linda is so great that his math grades have fallen off drastically. His teacher, knowing that Greg excels at math, calls home to advise Mike and Carol of his recent difficulties. Meanwhile, the rest of the family tries to determine Linda's identity.
Eventually, viewers realize that Linda ... is Greg's pretty math teacher, Miss O'Hara, and Greg's recent infatuation has distracted him from his studies. Mike eventually realizes that Miss O'Hara has a boyfriend ... and a very famous one at that: Los Angeles Dodgers' first baseman Wes Parker. Once Mike introduces Greg to Parker — and the two of them show Greg that Miss O'Hara is spoken for — Greg instantly gets motivated to refocus on his studies, on the promise he would get tickets to a future Dodgers' home game if he got good grades.
