Episode Breakdown
- Opening: Stephen celebrates an announcement that the New York Times will be trimming an inch and a half from the diameter of the paper.
- The Road to World War III: Stephen debuts his new graphic for reporting on conflict in the Middle East. When Iran said that a ceasefire would be possible, Stephen urges the military to keep shooting because so many FOX News pundits have already declared the conflict in the Middle East to be World War III.
- The Word - Solidarity: "As in me and all my management buddies are in solidarity in hating unions."
- Stephen Colbert's Problems Without Solutions: The first part in a one part series, Stephen profiles the bear problem and one man who believes that bears are his friends. Jeff Munson is the animal keeper for the bears in the New York Bronx zoo. Clearly, he is traumatically delusional because of Stockholm Syndrome.
- Dhani Jones Interview: Dhani Jones is a professional football player in the National Football League as a linebacker for the Philadelphia Eagles. He also hosted Timeless on ESPN2 and founded a company which sells high-quality bow-ties. The two talk about how, although he has the capacity to be a mindless jock, he's both a poet and a fan of classical music. At the end of the interview, Jones creates a stream-of-conscious poem about the things in the interview space.
- Closer: Stephen tries to say good bye, but accidentally says hello.
