The Fender Bender 500 is an animated comedy, a segment of the syndicated series Wake, Rattle and Roll. It is considered to be a spinoff of 1968's Wacky Races.
Nine rally monster trucks compete in races taking place in different global locales, each truck driven by a classic Hanna-Barbera character. Like Wacky Races, the drivers all must contend with hazards along the way as well as the machinations of Dick Dastardly and Muttley who try to cheat their way to victory. The prize at the end of each race is played up as something valuable but winds up being worthless.
