The Hanna-Barbera New Cartoon Series was an animated anthology airing in syndication. It was comprised of three separate entities.
- Wally Gator starred a happy-go-lucky alligator who lived in the city zoo where trouble on his part seemed to brew constantly. Keeping an eye on him is zookeeper Mr. Twiddle.
- Touché Turtle was a heroic terrapin who brandished a bent-pointed sword. Assisting was his canine companion Dum-Dum.
- Lippy and Hardy was Lippy, a lion, and Hardy Har Har, a lugubrious hyena. They were down-on-their-luck travelers who sought (and failed) to seek their fortune. Hardy Har Har previously appeared in an episode of Snooper & Blabber on the Quick Draw McGraw show.
Warner Bros. Television now distributes the show in syndication.
