Trivia
The Show
- This episode features a slightly truncated main title sequence.
- Michael McKean reprises his role as Morris Fletcher, a character who appeared three times earlier on The X-Files.
Behind the Scenes
- Despite airing penultimately, this was clearly meant to be the finale.
- The series was cancelled, failing to fulfil the promise of "To Be Continued", although the writers would resolve much of the arcs in The X-Files episode "Jump the Shark".
- Due to Duchovny's busy schedule with The X-Files, the scenes with Jimmy and Mulder in the garage were filmed in L.A. with The X-Files crew.
- The alien torture chair is the same one used in The X-Files and its appearance caused it to get stuck in customs while being transported from L.A. to Vancouver.
