The Storybook Squares was a Saturday morning children's edition of the weekday Hollywood Squares show.
The celebrities in the cubicles were all dressed as famous fictional and storybook characters and figures from history like Tarzan, Henry VIII, and Little Miss Muffet. Gameplay was identical to the parent show, except for the scoring. Making a tic-tac-toe won prizes for the young contestants.
The Storybook format would be used occasionally on the weekday show during periods of the year when kids were home from school.
