Behind the Scenes
- Kerry Noonan auditioned for a smaller role before asking the casting director if she could read for the lead. Despite attempts to discourage her, she was eventually allowed to audition for the role of Charity. She was initially considered too old for the part before being hired. This was because Justine Bateman was originally cast as Charity, but was fired when the producers discovered that she was not convincing as the character. Noonan, being a history buff, pointed out inaccuracies in the dialogue and was even allowed to change any dialogue found to be grammatically incorrect.
