Behind the Scenes
- Steven Barnes wrote the story to deal with his feeling on junior high and his sister being a school teacher. However, he didn't like what made it to screen. The original script was 20 minutes before they wanted to expand it to 30 before cutting it down to 15 due to the length of "Paladin of the Lost Hour". Barnes said the result was almost incomprehensible.
