Season One of The X-Files introduced us to the characters of Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. The X-Files were cases the FBI deemed unsolvable. A young agent called Fox Mulder took it upon himself to try and solve these cases and along the way, possibly uncover the truth behind his sister's disappearance. Agent Dana Scully was assigned to work with Mulder and it was hoped by her superiors that with her scientific background she would debunk Mulder's work.
