Season Three of Titus premiered on November 14, 2001. The series was canceled towards the end of the season, causing the network to pull the show from its schedule and burning off the remaining episodes over three nights in the summer. One episode, The Protector, was pulled from its place early in the season and aired at the very end because of its dark content.

Had the series continued, Titus would have remained in the mental institution over the summer and his friends would be forced to find a way to get him out. There was some discussion about Erin and Titus getting married in the mental hospital.
