Season Twenty-Five of Wheel of Fortune premiered on September 10, 2007.

New opening theme introduced, closing theme left as is.
Bigger scoreboard readouts. During the first week, they had the player's names on them that flashed when they rang in on a toss-up or it was their turn during a round. The next week, the scoreboards just had arrows on them.
New flat-screen LCD puzzle board.
"25" wedge on the wheel in round 1. If a contestant lands on it, they get 25 gift certificates of whatever the prize is.
In round 3, there was a big money space on the wheel. When a contestant spins the wheel, the wedge is activated. The dollar amounts change from $5,000 to $7,500 to $25,000, Lose-A-Turn or a Bankrupt.
KingWorld no longer distributes the show. Now CBS Television Distribution does. On the September 27th episode, the CBS Television Distribution logo was plastered over the KingWorld logo.
