- The Covenant has unleashed a computer worm that targets hospitals, laboratories, and universities. They then use the keys to open the Rambaldi box to reveal the di Regno heart, which acts as an engine for Rambaldi's Il Dire (The Telling). It then writes out that scratches a message onto a scroll of parchment. Then then compare the codes gathered by the worm to the parchment. This will help the locate the Passenger.
Characters
- With Sydney being suspicious of Lauren, Jack confronts Vaughn and tells him of how Irina would sometimes to kiss him instead of divulging anything about her plans or activities when he asked. Vaughn later asks Lauren a similar question and gets the same response. This compels him to look through her things before discovering evidence that confirms Sydney's suspicions.
- Jack learns of Sloane's affair with Irina.
