Plot Overview

Clarice told Leigh that Larry walked out on her and may not come back. Russ told Mac that Sandy's recovery will be difficult. Cecile happily agreed to accompany Jamie on his business trips. Russ told Mac that Sandy needs constant observation before he can be released from the hospital. Pat agreed to cover for Cecile, who bragged to Pat and Marianne about going out of town with Jamie. A discouraged Marianne told Pat she isn't going to wait for Jamie any longer. Rick refused to let Sandy stay with Joey during his recovery. Mac tried to soothe Rachel's concerns over Jamie's workload and involvement with Cecile. Jerry refused Blaine's suggestion that he talk Larry out of working at the Arena. Blaine didn't want to talk about the escort service with Jason. Russ sent a distracted Rick home for the rest of the day. Rick and Marianne found comfort in each other's arms. Ada refused to let Leigh blame himself for Larry and Clarice's marital problems. Mac thanked Sandy for saving Jamie's life and suggested he convalesce at the Cory household. Clarice felt backed into a corner when Ada wasn't sure Larry getting an ultimatum was the right thing to do. Jamie and Cecile kissed while getting ready for their trip. Sandy called Melissa about his accident and being invited to stay with Mac. An unhappy Marianne agreed to let Rick stay the night with her.
