Plot Overview

After discussing the construction of the penthouse with Curtis and Quinn, Denny called Blaine to arrange a meeting. Sandy told Mac that Jamie has left Cecile. Jamie informed Rachel that he plans to visit Brian to start divorce proceedings from Cecile. Sandy told Mac about his last conversation with Jamie and assured him he was never involved with Cecile. Sandy agreed to help when Mac resolved to support Cecile. Rachel urged Jamie not to give up on marriage in general. Denny asked Frankie Cavallo to hire round-the-clock crews to get the penthouse ready for Mr. Black's arrival. Brian discussed the divorce proceedings with Rachel, who wasn't pleased to hear that Mac has decided to be present during them. Liz was surprised when Jamie refused to speak with Cecile. Sally sympathized with Cecile, who lied that Jamie accused her of having an affair with Sandy and claimed to be worried about him. Rick confided in Blaine about his latest argument with Marianne. Jamie asked Liz to arrange a meeting with him and Brian after neglecting to talk to Cecile. Mitch told Rachel about the college campus he's working at and that the art instructor wants her to lecture there. Quinn approved when Denny planned to hire Blaine to redecorate the penthouse. Mac was disappointed when Liz mentioned that Jamie got his message but hasn't returned it yet. Doris let Rick know that he's been accepted into the psychiatric program. Ada felt Jamie would eventually benefit from his separation from Cecile. Jamie consulted with Brian on a quick divorce from Cecile, where he retains only the Cory cabin. Sally wasn't happy with Leigh's news about being accepted into a Wisconsin hockey program. Blaine agreed to consider Denny's job offer. Mac tried to comfort Cecile and offered to help. Leigh tried to convince Sally to go to Wisconsin with him. Mac called Jamie and demanded that he come to the Cory estate right away.
