Mac told Alice he's looking forward to his final checkup with Russ. Sandy tried to assure Cecile that nothing is bothering him. Rachel called Ada worried about Jamie, who didn't come to her penthouse last night. Mac expressed his gratitude to Alice for being his confidante and full-time nurse. Mac was surprised to hear from Louise that Sandy didn't return home last night. Sally agreed to help Pat with answering the phones and to meet Leigh later to discuss him moving to Wisconsin. Cecile tried to alleviate Sandy's guilt over making love with her. Rachel arrived at Cecile's penthouse looking for Jamie. Rachel was interrogating Cecile as to what she did to make Jamie leave her when Sandy walked out of the bedroom. Jason fumed about Ilsa to Melissa and worried about Russ' next move. Rachel accused Cecile and Sandy of having an affair behind Jamie's back. Ada advised Leigh to consider the hockey program in Wisconsin very carefully. Sandy suggested that he and Cecile wait until her divorce from Jamie is final before pursuing a relationship. Sandy decided to tell Mac about him and Cecile, who worried about Rachel, Jamie, and Mac's reactions. Jason didn't think it a good idea when Melissa urged Jason to tell Russ the truth about Tracy's death. Liz relieved Sally from answering the phones and had a message delivered to Rachel. Ada refused to believe Rachel's insinuations that Sandy caused Jamie's marital problems. Cecile figured Jamie was getting back at her when she caught Pat moving into Cecile's old office. Sandy told Mac that he spent the night with Cecile and that he's in love with her, but tried to keep his distance because of Jamie. Mac resolved to help find Jamie when Sandy mentioned that no one's heard from him. Jason asked Philip not to run the 2nd half of the editorial regarding his testimony against Ilsa, which implicates Jason in Tracy's death. Rachel received Jamie's message to her, which mentions he's left Cory Publishing to be alone and to sort out his life. Alice suggested Mac not interfere in Sandy and Jamie's lives.
