Happenings
- A Cylon, a Six named Sonja, is elected to the new Quorum.
- As repairs are done on Galactica, the ship experiences power fluctuations.
- An Eight suggests plugging Anders up to the data stream like their hybrids.
- Kara tries to help the piano player compose his song. She remembers being given a drawing of dots by Hera. Overlaying onto of his sheet music, the two play what was not only the song her father taught her as a child, but the very same music that triggered the Final Five in the Ionian nebula.
- After Boomer kidnaps Hera, jumping close to Galactica, causing further damage, Ellen realises it was all a part of Cavil's plan from the start.
Characters
- Tyrol's feeling toward Boomer are reawakened after learning the Cylons and he goes to see her in the brig. There she shares a projection with him of the home they planned to build on Picon after they mustered out their service, including the child they would have had. After helping her escape, he learns she took Hera. Horrified, he returns to the projection and sees neither Boomer nor their child.
- After getting out of the brig, Boomer finds Athena, brutally knocking her out and has sex with an oblivious Helo while she watches, bound and gagged.
- Kara had a good relationship with her father, Dreilide Thrace. However, he left when her mother wanted him to stop playing. Kara then stopped playing as a way to punish him. She doesn't seem to recognise him until she turns and find he's gone and was likely not seen by anyone else.
- As Boomer attempts to escape with Hera, Roslin appears to sense something is wrong. After Boomer's jump, Roslin is found collapsed.

The Show
Behind the Scenes
- Needing an actor who could also perform the necessary music, the producers eyed the show's composer Bear McCreary. He agreed to auditioned but afterwards, everyone, including himself, agreed that his talents were best suited for music.
Allusions and References
- The brand of Tauron toothpaste Kara presents in the teaser is Felgercarb. This, of course, derives from the original series in which the word was fictional profanity, analogous to the word "shit" or "bullshit".

- Slick: (to Kara) Listen. It may feel like hell, but sometimes lost is where you need to be. Just because you don't know your direction, doesn't mean you don't have one.
