Plot Overview
Sam's successful over brother Derek visits Cheers, and Sam grows increasingly jealous as attention is showered in Derek. Things get worse when Diane takes an interest in Derek too.

The Show
- Sam's brother Derek's voice is heard, but is his face is never shown. Similar techniques have been used in other shows, at least as early as Rhoda (the never-seen Carlton the Doorman). The same device would be used many times throughout Cheers, with Norm's wife Vera, and on the spinoff Frasier, with Niles' wife Maris.
