Welcome Back Carter is the fourth episode of the ninth season of Family Guy, and the one hundred fifty-fourth episode overall.
In this episode, the 60-years-plus marriage of Lois' parents, Carter and Barbara Pewterschmidt, is severely tested when Peter reveals that Carter was caught in bed with a younger woman. Peter helps Carter cope with his looming bachelorhood after Barbara kicks him out of the house, while Carter tries to do some serious soul searching.
