Fear the Walking Dead — Season Four

Blackjack is the thirteenth episode of the fourth season of Fear the Walking Dead, and the fiftieth episode overall.

Plot Overview

While Morgan and the others continue searching for Glenn and the truck driver, Luciana attempts to grant a dying man his final wish.

Dorie and Strand are cut off by a large body of flood water inhabited by a hungry alligator.

Happenings

• The group finds Purvis and buries him.

• The filthy woman makes contact with Morgan. He remembers her, but she claims to know a lot about about him and how he used to not be weak.

• Luciana meets a man. Clayton, trapped in a car, the pressure being the only thing to keep him alive. He tells he would like to have "one last beer" and eventually finds one in one of the boxes. He tells her that he became a trucker to get away from people, but the only one who might be looking for him is someone he doesn't want to see.

• Clayton gives Luciana his notebooks that chronicle where dropped off supplies. When Luciana reunites with Morgan and the others, they connect he was Polar Bear, the owner of the truck.

• Alicia and Charlie find one of the boxes and makes contact with Morgan.

• The filthy woman catches up with the truck in Althea's van. Morgan realises what she's going to do and tells everyone to dunk as she opens fire on the truck.

• Dorie and Strand had been caught in a flash flood and are stranded on an island with a large body of water in their way. In it is an alligator that only gets distracted by walkers that wander in, but they can't make it across in enough time.

• Luciana feels guilty over watching Nick and not being able to make him feel better in his final moments.

• Strand has become pessimistic and explains that he drinks to forget what he's lost.

• Dorie found June's favourite candy in his pocket when the flood hit. He plans to give it to June when they reunite, but after his plan to get off the island fails, he eats it for himself.
