Fear the Walking Dead — Season Four

Weak is the twelfth episode of the fourth season of Fear the Walking Dead, and the forty-ninth episode overall.

Plot Overview

With her van out of diesel, Althea and June are forced to leave it behind when they pick up a signal on their walkie-talkie. The situation is made worse when Althea gets sick.

Happenings

• Morgan meets the dirty woman, but has no idea about her nature. She is later seen filling water bottles with dirty water and putting it back in the box. She later tells Purvis that he was making people weak.

• Al and June leave the van behind, only for it to be stolen by a man named Quinn. June catches up with him as it runs out of diesel again and lets him go. He later takes it gets it refuelled and unknowingly falls for a trap where the dirty woman has Purvis kill Quinn, which is what she believes he was supposed to do and lets him go to keep doing it. She then takes the van and writes on Quinn "People you know" as he resurrects and she promises him that he won't be weak anymore.

Characters

• June rewatches the tape of Dorie's interview until the battery dies. She expresses regret about leaving John and isn't sure she'll find him again.

• Al gets sick, but finds some medicine

• Al hates to leave her van behind, even lying about having medicine to get June to get it. She confesses that the tapes she has maybe all that's left of some people.

• Al and June are reunited with Morgan and meet Sarah, Wendell, and Jim.

Referbacks

• Morgan says he's going to leave the radio channel open for as long as he can and tells Sarah that someone did the same for him. He is referring to when Rick promised the same in "Days Gone Bye", but as Morgan confesses to her, we see by "Clear" that this didn't work.
