Free Willy is an animated series inspired the 1993 film of the same name. The show, which aired for one season, continues the adventures of Willy the orca and Jesse, the boy who freed him from captivity as seen in the movie. In retrospect, the series also anticipated plot elements of the movie's sequel, Free Willy 2: The Adventure Home, which was released in the summer of 1995.

A double VHS was released in the UK. Warner Bros. has not yet made any announcements to release the series on DVD in the United States. However, the entire series is available for streaming on Amazon Instant Video.
