Plot Overview

It's been 3 years since Hannibal turned himself in to the FBI and Will has long left behind both. However, he is approached by Jack to track down a killer nicknamed the Tooth Fairy who murders whole families.

Characters

• Hannibal has been imprisoned at the Baltimore State Hospital for the Criminally Insane where has been deemed legally insane and thus will elude the death penalty.

• Alana has assumed Chilton's administrator position at the Baltimore State Hospital for the Criminally Insane.

• Will now has a wife and stepson.

• Jack approaches Will to help with the Tooth Fairy case. Will reluctantly agrees, but fears he will not return the same.

• Will goes to see Hannibal.

Trivia

Memorable Moments

• In recreating the killing of the Leeds, Will focuses on the body of Mrs Leeds where the numerous red strings detailing the blood spatter patterns align behind him, as they increase in brightness, visually simulating wings.

Goofs

• During the first act, as Hannibal is being led to his cell, an article passes behind him. The bold text includes the obvious typo: "He man not even be a man[.]" The remaining text fares even worse, as it is obviously nonsensical ("...share strategitive focustomer absolutely..." and "Inconce source of the mand focus back...").

• Hannibal: There's no consensus in the psychiatric community what I should be termed.

Alana: You've long been regarded by your peers in psychiatry as something entirely other. For convenience, they term you a monster.

• Hannibal: Do you still prefer beer to wine?
