Jin Has a Temper-Tantrum on the Golf Course is the eleventh mobisode of Lost: Missing Pieces, and the eleventh mobisode overall.

Guest Stars: Daniel Dae Kim (Jin-Soo Kwon), Jorge Garcia (Hugo "Hurley" Reyes), Harold Perrineau, Jr. (Michael Dawson)

Synopsis

Jin-Soo Kwon, Hugo "Hurley" Reyes and Michael Dawson are out on Hurley's makeshift golf course. Jin is putting for the win, but he misses and Michael wins the game. The loss sends Jin into temper tantrum as he can't believe he couldn't successfully hit a ball into a hole and thus lose to both Hurley and Michael. The two try to calm Jin down, but Jin tells them in Korean to shut up and not pity him. He goes on to lament about being stuck on the island, that no one can understand him and he just wants to be happy. He wants the handcuff off his wrist as it's driving him crazy, but he believes none of them care about him. Michael again tries to calm Jin down, but Hurley tells him not to, suggesting to him that Jin needs to blow some steam off and they should take a break from golf for a while. The two leave Jin behind as he moans about how alone he is.

Trivia

Transcript

[Jin is putting]
Hurley: All right, Jin. You sink this putt, you win.
Michael: He can’t understand you.
Hurley: He can feel me, dude. He can feel me.
[Jin misses]
Michael: Yes!
Hurley: [to Michael] Congratulations, dude. [to Jin] It’s all right, Jin, you’ll get him next time.
[Jin begins to rant in Korean]
Jin: No, why? Why can’t I hit the ball in the hole?
Michael: Hey, it’s ok man, it’s only a game.
Jin: Shut up! Don’t pity me! All I wanted was one thing to go right.
Hurley: You can’t…
Jin: Do you want to say something? You don’t talk for once, you don’t talk! How can I lose to both Hurley and Michael?!
Hurley: I think I heard our names in there somewhere.
Jin: I hate this horrible island! Why doesn’t anybody understand me? All I wanted was one moment of happiness! Why! Why can’t I be happy!? Who invented this crazy game? [picks up golf ball] No! You horrible ball! Why!?
Michael: Maybe we... should do something?
Jin: Please take this handcuff off! I’m going crazy. You don’t care about me, do you? Don’t look at me with pity eyes! I’ve beaten men for lesser offenses! [grabs the golf flag from Hurley and throws it to the ground]
Hurley: [to Michael] Eh, don’t touch him. Let him get it out.
Jin: [shoves the golf ball into the hole] No, you horrible ball! Why couldn’t you go in the hole? [sits down] You horrible ball! Why why why!?
Hurley: Maybe we should take a break from golf for a while.
Jin: I’m so alone. I’m so alone.
[Hurley and Michael leave]
