Plot Overview
The victim is a real-estate broker. The killer is one of three brothers who run a family business, a financially-strapped garage. The body is found in the victim's car, shot to death, in a particularly seedy part of the city where he had an office. Once Angie and Oscar discover that the brothers pretty much signed over their house and the business to the victim, they think they have the motive squarely in hand, but that couldn't be farther from the truth. They suspect that each brother had a gun, two guns had blanks, and one had a live bullet...but whose gun had the real bullet? Also, Samantha presses Cross for info on why Angie refuses to testify at his trial, and Cross does his best to run interference, but a shocking piece of paper is given to Angie by a process server...a subpoena to testify for the DEFENSE!
