Plot Overview
The Movie
A mysterious alien saucer lands on Earth. Three curious children board the ship and it takes off to a planet on the other side of the sun. The aliens want to eat the children, but not before using them to summon the flying turtle Gamera. Of course, one of the children once again has a telepathic to Gamera and he arrives on the planet. There he is attacked by the alien monster Guiron. In one of most iconic images in Gamera movie history, Gamera swings on a bar to defeat Guiron. The day is saved once again by Gamera, the defender of children everywhere.

Notes
- The Gamera exchange in the opening , while funny, makes no sense because Joel already announced that they would be viewing Gamera vs. Guiron in the previous episode.
- This episode is the first one in which no viewer calls are listened to.
- Gamera vs. Guiron was produced by Sandy Frank, who was very upset over the treatment of his films on the show. As a result, he refused to renew the rights for their broadcast and the episodes featuring his movies could not be re-aired once the rights expired.
- Gamera vs. Guiron is one of the KTMA episodes that was re-done in a later season (3x12 - Gamera vs. Guiron)
