Biography
Pam Tillis was born Pamela Yvonne Tillis on July 24, 1957 in Plant City, Florida to country music singer Mel Tillis and Doris Tillis. She has three sisters and one brother. In 1981, she got her first start in country music, so in 1983, she signed to Warner Bros. Records and released in album on there. In 1989, she left Warner Bros. and signed to Arista Records where she released her album Put Yourself In My Place in 1991. In 1989, she became an actress and started out on L.A. Law in 1993, then in 1998, she was also on both Promised Land and sister show Diagnosis Murder.
