Plot Overview
A desperate woman races to Petrocelli's trailer at 3 A.M., wanting to hire the lawyer to represent her in a divorce case against her powerful husband. Tony's soon representing her on a different charge--murder, the victim being one of her husband's employees, whom she threatened to kill in front of a room full of witnesses. To make matters worse, her gun is the murder weapon. Petrocelli agrees to take the case and soon finds himself and his wife the target of intimidation from several sources--the woman's rich husband, who both tries to buy him off and threatens him with violence; the husband's legal counsel; and a police lieutenant who doubles as a security consultant for the man.

This episode features many of the hallmarks of the series, including the constant mispronunciation of Tony's last name (people referring to him as 'Petro-SELL-i', and he immediately correcting them with 'Petro-CHELL-i') and also the Rashomon-like recollection of witnesses in the trial, who many times give differing accounts as to what happened.
