Block
From The TV IV
(Redirected from Programming block)
A block refers to a group of television programs branded together under a common banner and placed adjoining each other on the network's schedule. The programs may share similar elements, such as the same format, style, or production company. Often the branding is done for ease of marketing. A block that airs on several days a week, in sequential order, is called a strip.
