Plot Overview

Drugs go missing from the lockup and Elliot is quick to accuse one of Alex's patients. JD is caught in the middle as the women argue back and forth and is of course asked who he sides with. Relations between JD and Elliot, already strained from his romance with Alex (of whom Elliot disapproves) shatter completely when JD sides with Alex.

Elliot accuses JD of siding with her simply because he's sleeping with her, to which JD responds that Elliot is jealous. Elliot is convinced that Alex will hurt JD, but becomes so upset with him that she leaves him to find out for himself.

Meanwhile, Turk and Cox disagree over a patient of their own and Cox only becomes more perturbed as they realize that they're on the same pee schedule. Cox and Turk both realize the true root of the problem as it becomes obvious that Cox has a crush on Carla.

Carla however has problems of her own as she has to hide her growing friendship with Dr. Kelso, begun when he gives her a ride to work one morning and becomes impressed with her feistiness. She knows if it goes public it will destroy her relationship with the other nurses, and when Kelso catches her hiding he enjoys a suitable revenge.

Just when JD is about to consumate things with his new girl, he realizes that Elliot was right as he finds the missing drugs in Alex's purse. When he apologizes to Elliot, she reveals that he was right about her being jealous and they share a kiss...
