Plot Overview
Alex emerges from the MRI machine and JD rejoices as she is very much a hottie. They head out to dinner a few times but are continuously interrupted by JD being paged. It only gets worse as things keep going until Alex decides to break it off after he misses yet another date.
Turk and Carla run into problems as declaring that they love each other seems to have put a damper on their love life. Unable to confide in JD, Turk turns to the Todd for advice... Likewise Carla is forced to give in to Elliot's demands to be her confidante.
Dr. Cox raises the spirits of the interns after he temporarily takes over rounds from Dr. Kelso. He reminds them that they are here to learn and they shouldn't feel like a wrong answer is death. As a result the interns slowly lose their fear of Dr. Kelso, much to the chief of staff's displeasure. Eventually Kelso resumes leading rounds, managing to reinstill the fear, but not quite at the same level as before.
JD tries his best to change Alex's mind about him, but resigns himself to failure until she shows up at the hospital with a picnic, willing to give him a second chance.
