This short first season followed the Sliders from the discovery of the vortex to some of the most original worlds; a world on the brink of destruction by asteroid, a world suffering from a deadly disease, a world where women are the dominant sex, and more. The season ended with a cliffhanger and one of the Sliders' life in the balance.
