  • This episode was originally to have aired on March 28, 1969, but it was postponed due to breaking news concerning former US President Dwight D. Eisenhower, who had died earlier that day. After a two-month delay, "Turnabout Intruder" finally aired when Star Trek was brought back by NBC to finish its run on a new night and time on June 3, on Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. EDT/PDT
